The Red Mustang

Mr. Smith's shiny, bright red Mustang convertible was his prized possession. One summer, Mr. Smith reluctantly left his Mustang parked in the driveway while he flew to Florida for a vacation. He hired 6 employees to care for his house while he was gone. Tim, a high school student, and his little sister Katie were hired to watch his dog. Bo and Luke, college football players, were hired to do his yard work; and Lacey and Kayla, twin sisters, were hired to pick up his medication. Mr. Smith provided each employee with a set of his house keys.

When he returned from vacation, his dog was fed, his yard work was completed, and his medication was on the counter, but his beloved Mustang was gone! "It must've been one of my employees," Mr. Smith thought with fury. An hour later, the police contacted him with a report. The officer told Mr. Smith that his Mustang was found crashed on the side of the road, and it had been evacuated. He determined that there were two people in the car.

Who stole Mr. Smith's Mustang?
